Prélude started from a frustration: astrology apps sell you fog. One vague line a day, often anxiety-inducing, that could point at a dozen different people. We wanted the opposite.
Astrology worth reading starts from an exact fact: the real position of the planets at the second you were born. That’s computation — Swiss Ephemeris, sub-arcsecond precision. Astro-Seek can do that. The problem is it stops there: it hands you a grid of symbols and leaves you to figure it out.
Prélude takes that computation and does the missing work: interpretation. Not pre-written blocks copied from one chart to the next, but a coherent reading of what’s actually hitting YOUR chart this month — which planet is moving through which house, what it means for your life, and what to do about it.
We set three rules. Zero jargon: never “square”, “7th house” or “retrograde” without translation. Honest: if the month is tense, we say so, with concrete ways through it. Actionable: every reading gives you dates, a favorable window, a stretch not to force.
And zero subscription. We’ve all hated paying a monthly charge for content we no longer read. Here, 1 credit = 1 reading. You pay when you actually want to know. Credits never expire. No trap, no hidden renewal.
